From My Perspective (2024 update)
A seagull looms enormous in the foreground, its sharp orange beak and watchful eye filling nearly half the frame, standing tall on pink legs at the edge of a stone wall. Beyond it, a row of weathered wooden pilings marches off toward the horizon, and a man in a cap and sunglasses stands near the nearest post, hands at his sides. Small birds streak across a hazy blue sky, and further down the pier, two more figures pause together while a dog peers out from behind the stone ledge. The scale feels deliberately tipped, the gull far larger than the people beside it, as if seen from the ground looking straight up.
