Street Concert

Two guitarists play together under a tent awning, one leaning into a microphone stand while the other flashes a peace sign mid-strum. Their open guitar cases sit on the pavement between them, one holding a folded bill or two, and a third case leans empty against a nearby wall. In front of them, a small cluster of listeners sits with their backs to us, caught up in the music, while a street lamp glows overhead and passersby drift through the background. The whole scene has the loose, unplanned feel of a sidewalk performance, everybody just stopping to listen for as long as the song lasts.
