Copper Beach (Melbourne Beach)

The sky explodes twice daily on Florida’s Treasure Coast. The deep, fiery hues of the sky seamlessly transition into the dark, rolling waves, creating a dramatic and powerful contrast. Whether at sunrise or sunset, the experience stirs deep emotions, leaving a lasting impression on all who witness it.

In my painting, the warm color palette evokes the intense atmosphere of a sunset over the ocean, with vibrant reds and oranges that dominate the upper portion of the composition. I rendered the waves with dynamic brushwork to capture both the movement and the weight of the water, as well as reflecting hints of the glowing sky above.
